    Your responsibilities:

    • Development of new materials to support applications in new mobility (battery systems, fuel  cells, ADAS, brake systems, and others) 
    • Innovation in materials science - novel concepts and improvements for materials, identification of relevant trends, technical developments and translating these into internal innovation projects
    • Optimization of existing materials and cultivating the internal chemical compliance system for monitoring and replacing chemical substances (e.g. according to REACh) 
    • Keeping close contact with material suppliers, and monitoring the market for new materials
    • Lead independently complex development projects for Tier 1 and OEM customers
    • Technical support in problem-solving, escalation topics with both, internal and external customers as well as in the execution of the development and cross-functional project tasks
    • Using broad technical skills and materials expertise to contribute to other teams in R&D, engineering and advanced technologies in mutual development projects

    who we are looking for
    • A university degree in natural science or engineering in the fields of chemistry, materials  science, polymers, or chemical engineering  
    • Specific knowledge in one or more of the following fields: elastomers, nanomaterials, thermoplastics, or surface chemistry 
    • 5+ years of experience in similar industries or from PhD 
    • Willingness to travel globally to support customers and colleagues 
    • Constructive, team player, open-minded, innovative, committed, communicative, and well structured, with the ability to work independently 
    • Fluent in Czech and English (Level C1) with strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of German will be of your benefit 
    • Proficiency in writing detailed technical reports
