Your Responsibilities:
... - Lead and oversee the Cloud services team
- Develop and maintain strategies for Cloud Infrastructure and Services, ensuring effective performance and cost management
- Drive adoption and communicate risks/opportunities of leveraging Cloud Infrastructure, participating in sales campaigns, and providing technical architecture expertise for IaaS, MS, and SaaS, including Security, performance, and scalability
- Promote cloud orchestration using Infrastructure-as-Code, empowering the Cloud Ops team with self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional teams to strategize and execute new initiatives
- Design and establish a Cloud Automation framework for accommodating subsequent automatable solutions, while driving improvements, optimization, and implementation changes
- Identify recurring issues, analyze patterns, and design solutions aligned with the framework, automating the resolution of recurrent issues
- Cultivate strong relationships with global internal and external stakeholders and foster effective collaboration with other delivery centers
- Supervise and guide direct reports, addressing their development, performance, technology, and current or future operational needs
- Manage team workload through clear goal-setting, effective resource allocation, and project management oversight
- Champion change, encourage innovation among employees, evaluate suggestions, and facilitate obstacle removal for implementation. Ensure employee equity and promote professional growth and opportunities
- Actively listen to team members' feedback and promptly address any issues or conflicts
- Collaborate with HRBP to ensure compliance with essential HR processes, including performance management, compensation and benefits management, retention, and annual organizational review
- Provide regular reports on key metrics
Your Team:
Your team will consist of Cloud Engineers, Cloud Consultants, and Cloud Project Managers, organized into two sub-teams: Cloud Services and Cloud Transformations.
The team currently comprises 8 members, and they anticipate substantial growth throughout 2023, with ongoing hiring expected to reach 18 members by Q3 2023. As a global team, our Cloud engineers, Consultants, and Architects closely collaborate with colleagues from Denmark and the Philippines. Daily collaboration occurs through online channels, and your active participation in this collaborative environment is expected.

who we are looking for
- Solid technical proficiency in Cloud services (Azure/AWS) with responsibility for engineering activities in the Cloud Centre of Excellence
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a diverse team comprising junior and senior members
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, including familiarity with business metrics, best practices, and benchmarks
- Proficiency in ITSM processes and Agile methodologies
- Prior experience in IT Operations and IT Outsourcing environments
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and their measurement
- Capacity to excel in an international work environment
- Proactive approach to ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration
- Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and receptiveness to new ideas.
