The Senior E-Commerce Specialist will serve as a critical contributor in optimizing the company’s online sales and digital presence. Reporting directly to the E-Commerce Director, this senior role requires in-depth expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, online marketing strategies, data-driven decision-making, content strategy, and project execution. The candidate must be capable of independently leading complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Optimization:
... - Critically evaluate and refine online sales funnels, including landing pages and checkout processes
- Conduct A/B testing for conversion optimization
- Analyze customer journey maps to improve user experience and maximize ROI
SEO:
Technical SEO:
- Conduct site audits to identify technical issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and loading speed
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO fixes
On-Page SEO:
- Optimize meta-tags, headings, and on-page content for targeted keywords
- Implement schema markup for enhanced SERP listings
Off-Page SEO:
- Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies
- Monitor and refine strategies based on backlink analysis
- Monitor KPIs and Google Search Console data to refine overall SEO strategies
Online Marketing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategy, with a focus on PPC campaigns
- Optimize ad spend across various platforms to achieve targeted ROI
Content Strategy:
- Conduct keyword analysis to inform content creation assignments
- Develop content ideas and prepare assignments for internal or freelance writers
- Evaluate content performance metrics and adjust strategy as needed
Data Analytics:
- Utilize Google Analytics, DataStudio, or PowerBI for high-level analysis and custom reporting
- Set up and manage Google Analytics tracking codes and data layers for advanced event tracking
- Employ data-driven insights to steer e-commerce strategies
Website Management:
- Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of the company's e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO.
Project Execution:
- Independently plan, manage, and execute cross-functional e-commerce projects
- Develop detailed project timelines and milestones, and track progress against these benchmarks
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure project success
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and KPIs

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce
- Expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Proficiency in content strategy and keyword analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, DataStudio, or PowerBI
- Proven track record of successful project execution
- Ability to interpret and make decisions based on complex data sets
- Experience in setting up Google Analytics and data layers
