The unemployment rate remained stable in April. On the one hand, some companies resumed recruitment that had been suspended in the previous quarter, but not all businesses can afford to do so. For example, most car manufacturers continue to stagnate due to the global crisis in the automotive industry. This balanced situation reflects the current uncertainty in the labor market, where companies must find a balance between maintaining employment and operating efficiently. This trend is also supported by employees' expectations of wage increases, which, according to a Randstad survey, are expected by almost 70% of employees. And according to the HR Trends 2025 survey, 90% of companies will deliver on these expectations. This data suggests that employers are willing to invest in their teams, which may contribute to a further decline in unemployment in the coming months.
