The November unemployment rate stagnated, with the decline halted primarily due to seasonal hiring, which is increasing demand for employees in several sectors such as retail, e-commerce, and logistics. However, the demand for temporary workers is 5–6% lower compared to last year.
Furthermore, a number of businesses have paused hiring and are waiting to see how the economic situation develops in the first quarter.

As at the end of November 2025, the Czech Labour Office registered a total of 90,627 vacancies. That is 3 372 less than in the previous month. The absolute largest number of job vacancies are repeatedly offered by employers in Prague (22,286 positions) and the Central Bohemian Region (14,356 positions). Unlike the statistics on registered unemployed, data on job vacancies from the labor office do not provide a comprehensive picture of the entire labor market, as many positions are advertised and filled through other platforms.
